Section 1: About this form
The water belongs to everyone and everyone deserves to experience the joy and excitement it offers. We want you to enjoy being on the water but we understand this might be difficult if someone is making you feel unhappy, worried or scared. If this sounds like you, don’t keep it to yourself.
You can complete this form if something is worrying you, or you’ve seen or heard something that doesn’t feel right while on and around the water.
It might be something that has happened to you, to a friend, or something you’re just not sure about.
If you make a report to us, we will contact you as soon as we can, and we will do everything we can to make sure you’re safe.
Please fill in as much as you can. You don’t have to fill in everything, just share what you can. Anything you tell us will be taken seriously and we’ll do our best to help you.
Other people you could tell:
  • An adult you trust. This could be your parent or someone else in your family, or; another adult at the club
  • RYA Safe Sport Team. If you want to speak with someone at the RYA call the Safe Sport team on 02380 012796 between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday. In an emergency call 02380 012796 between 9am and 10pm, 7 days a week including bank holidays.

Section 2: Tell us about your concern
We know that this is difficult but well done for getting this far. If something has happened, or you feel that you are in danger and need help straight away, please call the police on 999 and tell an adult you trust, as soon as you can. Thank you for choosing to tell us what happened.
